Tilicho
Lake trekking is a wonderful challenge trek where lake collects the glacial
melt of the entire northern slopes of Annapurna and Thorang Peak, and is
claimed to be the highest lake in the world. It is situated at an altitude of
4,919 metres (16,138 ft) in the Annapurna range of the Himalayas and is
designated as one of the most popular side hikes of the Annapurna Circuit trek.

Tilicho
trek is one of the finest trekking routes in the Annapurna region with a real
test more for the mind than the body. But the glorious skyline shows off
silver, gray and white mountains that glitters on a lovely weather day and the
diverse ethnic communities we meet up on the way give us some sort of idea of
the world we know and the world we are not familiar with but want so much to
learn off makes fade away all the hardship made on the trip.

Tilicho
Lake Trekking starts right from Besisahar as Annapurna Circuit Trekking, which
goes along the Marshyangdi River, with great views of Manaslu and Himal Chuli
to the east. On the way to Tilicho Lake, you get placid views of waterfalls,
and experience hiking across airy suspension bridges. But this route is a
pretty tough trail. You have to walk at alpine altitudes and you have to cross
the Thorung La pass at (5,416m).

Tilicho Lake treks in the Annapurna region
undoubtedly provides some of the world's best trekking routes, including as it
does a greater variety of scenery and culture than can be found in any other
comparable area. During Tilicho area trekking, Nepal's spectacular diversity
appears at its finest deep valleys and high mountains encircling the giant
Annapurna Himal embrace a wide range of peoples and terrain, from subtropical
forest to a high, dry landscape resembling with the Tibetan Plateau.

The trip
to Tilicho Lake is a perfect package to witness natural scenery, and learn
about the unique culture in this region. The best season for a journey to this
region is February to May and September to November. Glorious Adventure will
escort you on this journey of a lifetime…
