Langtang Valley Trek starts with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. After a short stay in Kathmandu, the trip begins. During your stay in Kathmandu, you will be visiting the major tourist attractions in the valley; like the durbar squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan. Also, the two Buddhist stupas “ Swayambhunath’’ and “ Boudhanath’’.

During this trek, you can visit the Langtang National Park, cross the forest of rhododendron and oaks. You can also enjoy the local villages inhabited by Tamang, Sherpa and Tibetan people. As the entire valley is surrounded by an exquisite mountain range, Langtang Lirung (7246m) is the major attraction of the trek. The trek package not only provides you with the opportunity to view some exquisite snowcapped mountains and glaciers but also experience the local culture.

Along with a 360-degree view from Kyanjin Ri, you will also get a chance to experience the local culture of the region shaped by Buddhism. You will visit the Kyanjin Gompa monastery. You will also be visiting the local yak cheese factory and viewing the enchanting glaciers which are also the gateway to Tibet. The best season for this trek is spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November).
